A Recent development in my practice is to be asked to paint murals. These are carried out after an initial consultation with the customer, after which I present a series of sketches and an estimate for the cost of the job. Once an agreement is made I will prepare to carry out the Commission.
My murals so far have been relatively bright and with personal themes. If the plan is to have murals in public places, it is likely that planning permission – through the local council – will be required. Not so the case with a private commission on private property.
